It's always fun with Todd and Jaime Graves come and visit from Austin. Most visits are divided between relaxing and some various cooking projects Todd and Lara devise.
This weekend it was Bacon Infused Bourbon. The easy explanation is that you put fresh bacon grease into bourbon for an extended period of time. After the grease congeals you remove it and then filter the bourbon.
It ended up tasting pretty good. Bourbon with a nice bacon aftertaste. Here are some photos of the process.
